Infrastructure
Dama
In 2005 “Os Independentes” acquired a 720 thousand m² area attached to the Parque do Peão, expanding the complex for greater comfort and safety of the public. With this acquisition the Park has around 2 million m² making it the biggest Fairground in Brazil.
Commercial Fair
Barretos has a profusion of smells, colours and flavours that become explicit at the Gastronomic Fair, a place that unites the best brands of Fast Food, as well as most artisanal dishes and drinks prepared right then and there.
Administration Office
Telephone central and IT Department
Working on a year round basis, the Park´s Administration Office hires extra staff to work during the Barretos Rodeo and is where the internal organization of the Park is based.
Accreditation Department
This building was specially built for the accreditation units for the Rodeo and is strategically located at one of the park´s entrances, with its own parking lot, computerized identification system and trained personnel.
Riding School
During the Rodeo it is used for the qualifying of the timed events and during the year competitions like barrel racing and team penning take place here.
Heliport
As air traffic is intense during the Rodeo, the Parque do Peão is equipped with two heliports approved by the DAC – Civil Aviation Department. As well as being used for passenger transport, the helicopters are also used for panoramic flights and aerial photographs.
Energy Substation
With energy systems responsible for lighting the whole Park and with a backup for all the necessities during the Rodeo, the CPFL has maintenance crews stationed at the Park during the 11 days of the event.
Brahma
Drink´s Resale
During the Rodeo, Brahma mounts a complete resale department for the restaurants, bars, infield suites, ranches, and hawkers. The Brahma department has a wide range of freezers, thermal ice boxes and fridges.
Uniodonto
A dentist´s centre prepared for emergency cases, with renowned professionals and enough equipment for a small surgery, the Uniodonto Department works free of charge 24 hours a day during the event.
Sebrae
The Sebrae department has a service station located in the Parque do Peão which they use during the Rodeo to help publish their work, products and services of associate companies and to give consultancy to whomever wishes to become an entrepreneur.
Box offices
Equipped with computerized systems and trained personnel, the Park´s box offices are strategically located to offer comfort, practicality and safety to the visitors.
Casa dos Artistas
The Casa dos Artistas hosts the musical artists that perform during the Rodeo. Their dressing rooms are located here with all the comfort and treatment they deserve.
Souvenir Shops
So that each visitor may take with them a souvenir of the biggest rodeo in the world, a complete structure of official souvenir shops is built offering the most varied products at great cost.
Police
Civil, Military and Fire Department
A partnership with the State´s Government allows for many civil, military and fire department police to be stationed at all areas of the Parque do Peão during the event with pre-planning and an infrastructure of mobile and fixed police units.
Cowboy Monument
A monument built to honour the Brazilian Cowboy, the main star of the event, which is 27 metres high is located at the main entrance of the Parque do Peão and can be seen from miles away.
Press Office Ranch
This is the press office headquarters for national and international journalists, which also has a team ready to help out with any of the stories or interviews during the event.
Berrantão
Centro de Lazer e Eventos "Berrantão"
With 3005m² of covered area with central air conditioning and stages, VIP suites, a kitchen, bars, bathrooms and dressing rooms, the Berrantão is where the most popular musical events and balls take place.
Warehouse
A 1155m² structure houses all the material used during the Rodeo in an organized and computerized manner, acting as a supply central for all sectors.
Tourist Guidance Department
The Tourist Guidance Department helps out travel agencies that organize excursions to Barretos and acts directly with information and tourist reception.
Ranches
There are currently 42 ranches in the Park, 6 of them still under construction. These ranches are used during the 11 days of the Rodeo and are an event on their own where ranch owners, families and VIP guests party through day and night to the sound of Brazilian and American country music, typical food and drinks and lots of happiness, enjoying the Rodeo in their own separate ways.
Public Telephones
There are a total of 96 public telephones placed strategically throughout the Parque do Peão for the convenience of visitors during their stay at the Park.
