Barretos Rodeo Circuit
Barretos is the birthplace of Brazilian rodeo. It was in this town situated in the interior of the State of São Paulo that the first event of its kind happened in 1956. The Barretos Rodeo, with over half a century of traditions, is currently the largest, most structured and innovative of the country. Celebrating its entry into the second half of the century, Os Independentes, promoters of the event, coordinate the Barretos Rodeo Circuit since 2006 through the National Rodeo League.
The National Rodeo League differs because of its modern format and its exclusive and innovative media plan which is a guarantee of image return to the accredited stages such as the Barretos Rodeo Circuit.
The champion of each stage wins the right to compete in the Finals of the greatest stage of Brazilian rodeo, the Parque do Peão in Barretos during the Barretos Rodeo. To qualify for a NRL (National Rodeo League) stage the event must follow numerous technical and quality standards determined by the NRL organizers. Animal welfare is crucial for the event to qualify as one of the stages.
